PDI franchise (Potential Driving Instructor)

Training
Before taking out your pink badge, Jon will have spent 40 hours with you to bring you to the standard needed to carry out driving lessons to a high standard. Once the pink has been issued, there are two options for a PDI, 20% observation or 20 hours training. Officially, 9 hours need to be "in car", Jon will give you the full 20 hours "in car" training as part of the franchise.
Training takes the form of the PDI being observed whilst delivering a lesson. Feedback is given constructively and effectively to help you develop the skills and competencies to become a fantastic Driving Instructor and also to pass your Part 3.
The Franchise
For just £60/week, for a minimum of 12 months, Jon will act as your ADI and advertise as necessary. Learners can be provided and 20 hours in car training will be undertaken to exceed the DVSA requirements
Test costs and the licence fee are not included.
Jon will manage all documentation to ensure DVSA receive the correct paperwork to enable you to be eligible to take the part 3.
Legally you cannot advertise as a driving instructor whilst on a pink badge. However you can advertise as a trainee working with a driving school with a named ADI. Jon will talk you through how to advertise. You would be operating as a member of "Jon Owen Driving Tuition".
There are lots of learners wanting tuition, you wont have to worry about work.
